Verizon Hub

1. The Verizon Hub, is trying to convince you that you can have all the conveniences of a cell phone, home phone, and computer in one device. They’re showing how times are changing and technology is advancing to make things simpler for the consumer.
2. The ad is showing a man drinking orange juice obviously just waking up, and checking vital information for his wife, like traffic and weather. It also shows him sending her a text message telling her the information.
3. There is no real generic form of this product, but it is combing multiple generic electronics. It is telling you that this is the new home phone. The times are changing and this is the future. It is very convenient for customers to have because they can do everything while having breakfast, as the commercial shows.
4. It is aimed more towards the working and business class or families. This is TV commercial not a magazine. Some channels this would be played on would be MTV, ESPN, ABC, and TBS.

Mac vs. PC
1. This advertisement is persuading you to believe that a Mac is better then a PC. It says in the ad that the iMac is the best desktop at any price.
2. It says in the commercial that Macs are number one and the PC makes up a fake headline stating it is superior. The PC is characterized as an middle aged balding man with glass, while the Mac is portrayed as a younger hip guy. By using these two different men it is making the Mac more appealing to users.
3. Consumers can expect faster, more reliable performance out of a Mac than from the generic PCs. Also you would receive the newest and best components out of the box where as a PC you would have to upgrade.
4. The targeted audience could range from teens embarking on college, to businessmen, to just the general public. This ad is also a commercial not in a magazine. Some channels this commercial would be played on stations such as G4, NBC, MTV and ESPN
